I am furious right now. Furious. And I'm going to call out Rockfields Community in Windsor Mill, Baltimore. That's how mad I am right now. You cannot even walk down any sidewalk in the neighborhood without have to constantly look down for poop. On the sidewalk!!! And let's not even talk about the open areas in the community or even the grass between the sidewalk and the curb. Covered! This is gross and dangerous. There are open areas in the neighborhood (not in people's yards) where your dog can poop, you can pick it up and dump it into the depository. That's another thing, we must have approximately 3-4 poop depositories and bags supplied (constantly, I have never seen them empty). I ALWAYS pick up after my dog and he has some large poops. I do my civic duty and pick it up, no matter how mushy it is, I'll pull up grass if I need to, leaves. It's not safe for other dogs and it's f'ing gross. Today, for at least the third time, I found dog poop in my yard. All three times it has been from a tiny dog. The first time was at the bottom of our yard by the sidewalk. The second time was actually IN our small planting area in front of the townhouse. Rob saw the dog (off leash of course) walk into our yard and poop. He of course called down the neighbor and told him to pick his dog's shit up. Today, I'm getting the trash together to take out and decide to pull some dead plants. What do I see? Dog poop, fresh, right in front of the stones. I was livid. Of course I picked up. Yes neighbors, I will pick up your f'ing dogs poop.
I understand dogs don't always do what they're supposed to. They don't always poop where they're supposed and they get a bug up their ass and decide they'd much rather poop in someone's yard. I am always exceptionally humiliated when my dog does this but I make a point to clean it up exceptionally well. That's how I would want my yard treated. I know we don't have the most appealing yard in the community. I don't care. Your dog poops in my yard, pick it up and pick it up good.
I doubt this message will get to anyone in the community but I'm putting it out there because I'm pissed. Oh, and furthermore, when my dog does poop in an open area and you're nearby don't cuss at me that I better pick up my dog's poop. I always have bags on me and I have NEVER not picked up my dog's poop. In addition, don't come to my personal home and accuse me of not picking up my dog's poop. It wasn't me bitch. I'm not the only one in the neighborhood that owns a big dog. Just because your neighbor told you that she saw a big dog poop in your yard and not pick it up DOES NOT MEAN IT WAS ME. Because I can assure you, it was not.
Have pride in your community. If you're going to have a dog, learn how to take care of it. Yes, picking up dog's poop comes with the territory of owning a damn dog. AND, don't make other dogs sick or your neighbors walk in your dog's poop because you are lazy. I won't tell you the number of times I've had to clean Rob and my shoes because we stepped in poop. In addition, I don't want my dog rolling in your poop. Dogs don't like taking baths and they shouldn't have to take one every week because you are lazy (that's an exaggeration, we don't bathe our dog once a week but we do have to frequently wipe him down with cleaning cloths).
I've vented enough. I was just really pissed today when I came across this. I'm sorry for all the cussing.
Thank you for reading this. :)
